Worldwide, employers have a duty of care to protect employees against psychosocial risks such as harassment, bullying, and unsafe behaviour. International labour standards (e.g. ILO conventions, national health & safety laws, and whistleblowing regulations) emphasize the need for safe reporting channels, preventive measures, and impartial support.
As an external Confidential Advisor, I provide that safe, independent point of contact for anyone seeking a listening ear or guidance with workplace or personal dilemmas.
Speaking up and breaking the silence empowers employees, reduces absenteeism, and helps organizations meet both their legal obligations and their ethical responsibility. I also provide an annual anonymised report with recommendations.
